Are you an experienced veterinarian with a passion for surgery and dentistry? Mt. Zion Small Animal Clinic in Janesville, WI, is seeking a skilled Associate Veterinarian—or an experienced doctor interested in a Chief of Staff role (with leadership training provided)—to join our collaborative, tight-knit team.

Just a short drive from Madison, our cozy clinic provides a welcoming, family-like environment where both team members and patients feel at home. With three exam rooms, a dedicated surgical suite, a dental treatment area, and ample kennel space, we are fully equipped to provide excellent care to 95% small animals and 5% pocket pets (rabbits and hamsters).

• Surgical Focus: We’re looking for a doctor comfortable with dentals, mass removals, spays/neuters, and soft tissue surgery. Surgery is scheduled in the mornings, anywhere from 1–4 days/week, depending on your preference, with appointments scheduled in the afternoons.  

• Flexible Scheduling: Full-time preferred (4 days/week) but part-time considered. No weekends. Enjoy 30–60 minute appointments and a 2-hour daily lunch/admin break to support work-life balance.

• Experienced Team: Our support staff is seasoned, with 10+ years of veterinary experience and 5+ years at Mt. Zion. You’ll be backed by 3 CVTs plus assistants, with a tech-to-DVM ratio of 1 CVT + float tech per doctor in both appointments and surgery.

• A Practice That Feels Like Home: We’re located in a quiet area of Janesville, and our clinic is often described as a “home away from home.” Our culture is supportive, fun, and family-like—with traditions such as a team trip to the Rotary Gardens at Christmas and in-house CE opportunities.

• Optional Add-Ons: Option to see pocket pets. We also offer Vet SOAP AI technology (optional) to streamline your workflow.
